I agree, Netbeans is good, but still it needs a lot of works to say it is perfect IDE. As it has new features as it has bugs. I advise the people to don’t release anything until you make sure it is clean of bugs, look at the new beta release 2, it has bugs more than beta 1 from the first 10 mins of use. Gentlemen, thanks for your work of netbeans, but we request more work to be perfect and please do more inelegance at editor side. And many thanks for every one who is participating Netbeans.

NetBeans is much better then Eclipse especially when You are developing mobile applications. Eclipse was better before but....it was before. Eclipse is still more popular but I think it is going to change.

you know, the best tool is JBuilder, you know that JBuilder 2 I think it was 2001 or 2000 is much better and smarter than your Netbean6 beta 2. By the way, if you are saying Netbeans is better than Eclipse, then it is really that you are joking. Netbeans still not mature enough. Netbeans team must get more and more work so as to say it is good.

There are always a number of zealots which will propose that their flavor of IDE is better. I would challenge a number of you to bring your case to your local JUG. Do a competition to show the ease of development and use of your IDE. I would imagine that you will find a number of folks who will agree that Netbeans is truly easy to use. Eclipse and Eclipse/JBuilder variants have not been in my judgment that easy to use. Ease of use is key to adoption. Both of those tools are without a doubt very powerful and have a number of plugins. I use Eclipse on occasion. IntelliJ IDEA 7.0 was just released. It has a fanatical following too. I have it as well and I find that it does a lot of great things too. Yet when I need to get something done quickly and flexibly, I always use Netbeans. I give all of my JUG presentations using Netbeans, and have converted some ardent Eclipse lovers. Those who have not converted to Netbeans use myEclipse because they want features like Matisse in Eclipse. Ultimately, whatever you use to make your job easier is best for you. I would suggest that all developers should give Netbeans 6.0 a fair shake. I think you will be impressed.
