Why should we come to your city?

I live in Secunderabad (Secunderabad and Hyderabad are actually twin cities), Andhra Pradesh, India. This is where I have lived for the past three and a half years and I have come to love it. The weather is warm during summer but much better than many other Indian cities. Some of my most memorable days were here - my wedding was here, my daughter was born here and I also got a chance to see James Gosling in June 2004 when he came here for the SunTech days (I wanted to meet him but couldn’t but I managed to get his snaps and his autograph!!). The reasons why you should visit this place - historical monuments, nice people and traffic that you probably will never see anywhere else on earth!!

Questions about NetBeans

What areas of NetBeans are you using?

The cool thing about NetBeans is that it kind of assists you right from the beginning - builds the initial code, helps you to build the GUI easily and helps you to remember the methods. And it all comes free (something great for students and people who cannot afford expensive software)! That I think is really cool.

Tell us about the coolest thing that you have created with NetBeans.

I have used it to build a Java application to automate the import of data from Ms Excel to Ms Access.

How long have you been a NetBeans user?

I have been using NetBeans for between one to two years.

Have you used another Integrated Development Environment (IDE)?

No.
