Description

Martin is heading home, and the NetBeans days in China has packed up and jumped a ship over to Tokyo. In this episode, Micah and Rob take a few days to explore Beijing. What appears on the surface to be an impenetrably huge city turns out to be a pretty friendly place! We discover a few specialist tea shops, the magic of the forbidden city and how to best prepare grubs on a stick. Finally, we make the trek out to the Great Wall, which is... well... a pretty great wall after all. Join us for the last On the Road installment and get a glimpse of the Olympic city before all the crowds arrive!

About On The Road Projects

Micah and Martin love to travel. They say they're not into polar expeditions or anything like that, but we think otherwise. This spring they started the NetBeans on the Road way down to the Middle East with a very special delivery. NetBeans CDs for a group of guys they'd never seen, to a place they'd never been to, a country which does not allow such packages to be mailed.
